Break is built on a simple idea: real moments, real people, real rest. We want Break to be a place where you can step away from the noise, connect with people who get it, and actually exhale. That only works if everyone shows up with honesty and respect. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") define what is and isn't acceptable on Break. They apply to all content you post, share, or transmit - including moment text, photos, comments, profile information, and any other material - and to your behavior toward other users. These Guidelines are incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service (breakverse.co/terms) and Privacy Policy (breakverse.co/privacy). By using Break, you agree to follow them. We use a combination of automated systems and human review to enforce these Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account restriction, account suspension, or permanent termination - and in serious cases, referral to law enforcement. If you see something that violates these Guidelines, please report it in-app. We take every report seriously.
THE GOLDEN RULE If you wouldn't want it done to you, don't do it to someone else on Break. That covers most of it. The specifics below exist for the cases where things get complicated.
Safety of Minors The protection of minors is our highest priority. We have zero tolerance for any content or behavior that endangers, exploits, or sexualizes anyone under 18. Prohibited: • Any content that sexually exploits, depicts, solicits, or endangers minors in any way • Grooming behavior - including building inappropriate relationships with minors, sharing explicit material with minors, or attempting to move conversations with minors off-platform • Facilitating, arranging, or encouraging real-world meetings between adults and minors • Any content that depicts minors in a sexualized context, even if no explicit imagery is involved • Sharing content that glorifies or normalizes harm to children We report confirmed child sexual exploitation material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate fully with law enforcement. There are no exceptions and no warnings for violations of this policy. Accounts will be permanently terminated immediately.
Harassment, Bullying, and Abuse Break is not a place for cruelty. You may disagree, debate, and critique - but you may not attack, demean, or harm. Prohibited: • Targeted harassment of any individual, including repeated unwanted contact • Threatening, intimidating, or inciting others to harm any person or group • Bullying - including mocking, humiliating, or degrading individuals publicly or privately • Sharing content designed to embarrass, demean, or harm a specific person • Lewd, unwanted, or sexually suggestive communications directed at another user • Mocking the deceased, victims of violence, or people experiencing tragedy • Coordinating or encouraging others to harass any individual ("pile-on" behavior) • Making or distributing any altered, manipulated, or fabricated content about another person with intent to humiliate them Disagreement and criticism of ideas, public figures, and institutions is permitted. Personal attacks on individuals are not.
Hate Speech and Discrimination We do not permit content that promotes hatred, dehumanizes people, or attacks individuals or groups based on who they are. Prohibited: • Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or incites hatred against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristic • Slurs, insults, and derogatory language targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics • Content that promotes, glorifies, or represents hate groups or hate ideologies • Harmful stereotyping that degrades entire groups of people • Deadnaming, deliberate misgendering, or content that demeans transgender or non-binary individuals • Content promoting conversion therapy or similar practices Discussion of sensitive social, political, and cultural topics is permitted. Content that dehumanizes or incites hatred is not.
Violence and Dangerous Content Break is not a place for threats, gore, or content that glorifies or enables violence. Prohibited: • Threats of violence against any person or group, real or implied • Content that glorifies, celebrates, or encourages acts of violence or harm • Graphic violence, gore, or content depicting severe physical harm • Content that incites or coordinates violence against any target • Encouraging or facilitating physical confrontations or harm to others • Content depicting harm to animals Context matters. Educational, journalistic, or historical discussion of violence is generally permitted when handled with appropriate care.
Terrorism and Violent Extremism We do not permit any content or activity that promotes, facilitates, or glorifies terrorism, violent extremism, or mass violence. Prohibited: • Content that supports, recruits for, promotes, or glorifies terrorist organizations, violent extremist groups, or individuals who have committed mass violence • Sharing manifestos, propaganda, or other material produced by or on behalf of violent extremist groups • Financing, planning, or facilitating acts of terrorism or mass violence • Using Break to radicalize others toward violent ideologies We cooperate fully with law enforcement where credible threats of terrorism or mass violence are identified.
Self-Harm and Suicide We care deeply about the mental health and safety of our community. We do not allow content that promotes, glorifies, or instructs self-harm or suicide. Prohibited: • Content that encourages, glorifies, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide • Content that normalizes or trivializes self-harm, eating disorders, or suicidal ideation • Content promoting disordered eating, dangerous weight loss methods, or harmful body comparisons • Challenging or daring others to engage in self-harmful behavior
We do allow thoughtful, supportive discussion of mental health, recovery, and lived experience. Content that raises awareness, provides resources, or expresses personal struggle in a non-promotional way is generally permitted.

Sexual Content Break is not an adult content platform. Prohibited: • Nudity or sexually explicit content of any kind • Non-consensual sexual imagery or content depicting or promoting sexual assault • Content that sexualizes any person without their clear consent • Solicitation of sexual activity, sex work, or adult content • Content that depicts or promotes sexual exploitation of any person Discussion of relationships, dating, and human sexuality is permitted in a non-explicit context.
Privacy and Doxxing Every person on Break has a right to privacy. Violating another person's privacy is a serious offense. Prohibited: • Sharing any person's private, non-public personal information without their explicit consent - including home address, phone number, workplace, daily routine, financial information, or login credentials • Doxxing - compiling and publishing identifying information about a person with intent to expose, harass, or harm them • Sharing private photos, videos, or communications without the subject's consent • Stalking, monitoring, or tracking any person's location or movements • Sharing information about a minor's identity, location, or routine Public figures may be discussed in the context of their public roles. Their private lives, families, and private information remain protected.
Misinformation and Deceptive Content Trust and truth matter on Break. We do not allow content designed to deceive, manipulate, or spread harmful falsehoods. Prohibited: • Deliberately spreading false information that could cause real-world harm - including health misinformation, false emergency alerts, or fabricated events • Content designed to interfere with or manipulate elections or civic processes • Creating, sharing, or promoting synthetic, AI-generated, or manipulated media intended to deceive or harm • Impersonating any person, organization, brand, or public figure without clear indication of parody or satire • Creating fake accounts, operating multiple accounts, or misrepresenting your identity • Coordinating inauthentic behavior - including fake engagement, bot activity, or artificially amplifying content Satire and parody are permitted when clearly and obviously labeled as such.
Illegal Activity Break may not be used to facilitate, promote, or conduct illegal activity of any kind. Prohibited: • Buying, selling, trading, or facilitating the sale of illegal goods or services - including controlled substances, weapons, counterfeit goods, or stolen property • Sharing instructions for producing illegal goods or engaging in illegal activities • Soliciting, facilitating, or promoting human trafficking or exploitation • Financial fraud, scams, money laundering, or unauthorized collection of financial information • Using Break to plan, coordinate, or execute any criminal activity • Promoting or glorifying illegal activity in a manner intended to encourage others to participate Discussion and commentary on legal, social, and policy questions relating to laws is permitted.
Intellectual Property Respect the creative work of others. Prohibited: • Posting content you do not have the right to share, including copyrighted material, trademarked content, or proprietary work without permission • Claiming ownership of content created by others • Reproducing, distributing, or publicly displaying others' work without authorization If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated, contact us at company@breakverse.co. We investigate all valid complaints and take appropriate action, including content removal and repeat-infringer account termination.
Spam, Bots, and Platform Manipulation Break's value depends on authentic human interaction. We do not allow artificial or manipulative behavior. Prohibited: • Creating or operating bots, automated accounts, or fake profiles • Artificially inflating engagement through fake likes, follows, views, or other metrics • Sending unsolicited, repetitive, or irrelevant messages to other users • Promoting or advertising external products, services, or platforms without authorization • Creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement or circumvent a ban • Coordinating inauthentic behavior to manipulate how content is surfaced or perceived • Phishing, malware distribution, or any attempt to compromise another user's account or device Accounts found to be operating inauthentically will be terminated.
Content Involving Real People When your content involves other real people, additional care is required. Prohibited: • Creating content that falsely represents what a real person said or did • Sharing images or videos of real people in private or embarrassing situations without their consent • Creating or sharing manipulated images or videos of real people to deceive, humiliate, or harm. • Using another person's likeness for commercial purposes without their consent. Public figures and their public statements and actions may be discussed and critiqued. Their private lives and families remain protected.
Account Integrity Your account represents you. Keep it honest. Prohibited: • Using a false identity or providing inaccurate registration information • Impersonating another real person - whether a private individual, public figure, or Breakverse employee or representative • Transferring or selling your account to another person • Accessing another person's account without authorization • Creating a new account after your account has been terminated without our written permission Breakverse employees and representatives will never ask for your password or authentication credentials.
ENFORCEMENT We enforce these guidelines using automated systems and human review. When we identify a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions depending on the severity and context: • Removing the violating content • Issuing a warning • Temporarily restricting account features • Temporarily suspending your account • Permanently terminating your account • Reporting to law enforcement or relevant authorities Our enforcement decisions are made at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide notice before taking action, though we will do so where practicable. Certain violations - including child sexual exploitation, terrorism, credible violent threats, and doxxing - result in immediate permanent termination with no prior warning. Repeat violations will result in progressively stricter enforcement, up to and including permanent termination. We do not guarantee that all violating content will be identified or removed. We encourage you to report content that you believe violates these Guidelines.
APPEALS If you believe enforcement action was taken against your account or content in error, you may appeal by contacting company@breakverse.co within 30 days of the action. Include your account information and a description of why you believe the action was in error. We will review your appeal in good faith and respond within a reasonable time. We retain sole discretion over final enforcement decisions.
REPORTING To report a violation of these Guidelines: • Use the in-app report tool on any content or profile • Email: company@breakverse.co - subject line: "Community Report" Reports are confidential. We will not disclose your identity to the person you report. False or malicious reports - submitted to harm another user rather than to flag genuine violations - are themselves a violation of these Guidelines and may result in enforcement action against the reporter.

UPDATES TO THESE GUIDELINES We may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect evolving community needs, legal requirements, and safety best practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app. Your continued use of Break after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Guidelines. Prior versions are available upon request at company@breakverse.co.
